Venezuela underscored its commitment to deepening tourism ties with friendly nations, especially Egypt, in a joint celebration of this global occasion.
Ambassador Wilmer Omar Barrientos highlighted the vibrant, strategic partnership between Venezuela and Egypt, embodied in a new and ambitious national tourism initiative.
The project is designed to promote Venezuelan tourism to Egypt, while also encouraging Egyptians to discover Venezuela’s rich and diverse treasures. A series of special events are planned to support greater people-to-people contact and mutual exploration.
The Venezuelan embassy commended the forward-thinking vision of the Venezuelan government in collaborating with Egypt, a nation recognized worldwide for its cultural and tourism leadership. This partnership aims not only to increase visitor numbers, but also to foster the exchange of knowledge and best practices across both nations’ tourism sectors.
This initiative is part of the celebration of 75 years of strong diplomatic relations between Venezuela and Egypt, adding historical significance and depth to ongoing and future cooperation efforts.
To mark this milestone, the Venezuelan Embassy will host a high-level international online seminar on tourism in both countries on Saturday, October 4th.
Distinguished professors from leading Venezuelan and Egyptian universities will share their perspectives and experiences on further developing the tourism sector and strengthening its future prospects. The embassy warmly invites all interested experts and enthusiasts to participate in this important event, which promises to open new horizons for collaboration and prosperity in tourism.
