Egyptian ambassador meets Iraqi president to discuss regional issues
Egypt’s Ambassador to Iraq, Mr. Ahmed Samir, met with Dr. Abdul Latif Rashid, the President of Iraq. During this meeting, they discussed the strong and historic relationship between the Egyptian and Iraqi people.
A main topic of conversation was the recent escalation between Israel and Iran, which has raised significant regional concerns.
Ambassador Samir emphasized Egypt’s deep worry about these developments. He stated that such escalation could lead to a wider regional conflict, potentially endangering security and stability in the entire region.
