Indian Ambassador: Egypt is a dynamic economic gateway to Africa and Europe
India’s Ambassador to Egypt, Suresh K. Reddy, has hailed Egypt as a strategic gateway to both Africa and Europe, emphasizing the country’s vibrant and dynamic economy.
In an exclusive interview with Cairo News Channel on Sunday, Ambassador Reddy shared his optimism about future collaborations, expressing his expectation that even more Indian companies will establish a presence in Egypt in the coming years.
Ambassador Reddy also highlighted the depth and strength of the strategic partnership between India and Egypt.
He noted that Indian investments in Egypt have surpassed $4 billion, creating over 38,000 job opportunities.
The ambassador emphasized that India is actively engaged in several large-scale renewable energy projects with Egypt. Once these projects come to fruition, he anticipates an additional $10 billion in investments, further deepening economic and technological cooperation between the two nations.
