Egypt’s Military Medical Academy signs collaboration agreement with Egyptian Chinese University

Cairo—In a significant step to advance medical education and healthcare services in Egypt, the Egyptian Military Medical Academy has signed a cooperation agreement with the Egyptian Chinese University to promote the exchange of expertise and knowledge in medical training and education.


The agreement was signed by Major General Dr. Tarek Refaat El-Nagdy, President of the Military Medical Academy, and Professor Dr. Rasha Mohamed El-Khouly, President of the Egyptian Chinese University. 


The partnership aims to enhance the scientific level and professional training of healthcare providers using the latest advancements in medical sciences, thus contributing to the overall public health in Egypt.


Under this agreement, both institutions will collaborate on theoretical and practical training for healthcare professionals, especially at the postgraduate level. A key focus will be on continuous professional development, with particular attention to physical therapy, traditional Chinese medicine, and acupuncture.


The signing ceremony was attended by senior officials from the Egyptian Armed Forces, representatives from the Egyptian Chinese University, and the Ministry of Health and Population.


This collaboration reflects the commitment of Egypt’s Armed Forces and leading academic institutions to elevate the standard of medical training and integrate global best practices into the nation’s healthcare sector.
