Egypt and Morocco strengthen industrial and transport cooperation

Egypt’s Minister of Industry and Transport, Lieutenant General Kamel El-Wazir, met with Morocco’s Ambassador to Cairo, Mohamed Ait Ouali, to discuss enhancing industrial, investment, and transport cooperation between the two nations. The meeting highlighted the deep historical ties, brotherly bonds, and shared destiny uniting Egypt and Morocco.

Minister El-Wazir emphasized that Egyptian-Moroccan relations serve as a model for Arab and African integration. He praised Morocco’s successful automotive industry as a commendable example, noting that collaboration in this sector could open new horizons through the exchange of industrial and technological expertise. He further highlighted Morocco’s advanced aerospace industry, which has positioned the kingdom as a regional leader in aircraft manufacturing and components, offering valuable opportunities for knowledge transfer and supply chain development.

El-Wazir reaffirmed Egypt’s commitment, under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, to welcoming Moroccan investments and fostering a supportive environment for investors from brotherly nations. He underscored Egypt’s goal of building genuine industrial partnerships to achieve economic integration and mutual development.

Ambassador Ouali expressed pride in the strong bilateral relations and commended Egypt’s remarkable progress in infrastructure, industry, and transport. He affirmed Morocco’s keen interest in deepening cooperation and exploring new investment opportunities to benefit both nations.
