Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly has confirmed that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has approved November 1st, 2025, as the official opening date for the highly anticipated Grand Egyptian Museum, located near the Pyramids of Giza.
At a cabinet meeting on Wednesday, Madbouly instructed all relevant ministries to accelerate preparations, ensuring the event reflects Egypt’s cultural heritage on the world stage and welcomes distinguished international guests.
"The Grand Egyptian Museum is a major milestone for both Egypt and world heritage. Its opening will be a global event, showcasing the legacy of Egyptian civilization and attracting visitors from around the globe," Madbouly stated.
