Egypt condemns repeated Israeli strikes on Lebanon and Syria, calls for regional stability
Egypt has strongly condemned the repeated Israeli attacks on Lebanese and Syrian territories, describing them as blatant violations of the sovereignty of two brotherly Arab nations and a breach of international law and relevant United Nations resolutions.
In a statement, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized the critical importance of respecting the sovereignty of Lebanon and Syria and firmly rejected any external interference in their internal affairs. The ministry further highlighted Egypt’s unwavering support for the unity and territorial integrity of both countries.
Egypt warned that such continued violations risk escalating tensions and undermining stability in Lebanon, Syria, and the wider region, particularly at a sensitive time when regional and international efforts—including Egypt’s active engagement—are focused on de-escalation and promoting peace and security.
