The exhibition, which runs for several days, features participation from the armed forces, government ministries, Al-Azhar, cultural and media bodies, publishers and civil institutions.
It includes historical books and military publications on the October War, as well as artwork, photographs, models and displays created by Egyptian school and university students depicting the army’s role in the 1973 conflict, the statement said.
Outdoor displays feature models of weapons and equipment used in the war. The programme also includes music and cultural performances, educational seminars and a stand selling products from the military’s National Service Projects Organization at reduced prices.
