Egypt PM visits a primary school during 'Decent Life' tour in Giza
Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly visited Askar Primary School in Giza Governorate today during his field tour of projects implemented under the presidential "Hayah Kareema" (Decent Life) initiative.
During the visit, the Prime Minister was briefed by Mr. Saeed Attia, Director of the Giza Directorate of Education, who explained that the school currently has 6 regular classrooms plus one classroom dedicated to intellectual education. The school serves 173 students in the regular program and 14 students in the intellectual education program. Additionally, there is an annex classroom for students with disabilities accommodating 15 students. The school is also equipped with a library, a science lab, and a multimedia lab.
Dr. Madbouly attended a first-grade class where he listened with interest to a student explaining the seasons of the year. He asked the teacher about attendance rates, absence patterns, and students’ understanding of the curriculum. He then requested one of the students to read a passage from the Arabic language textbook, praising her correct pronunciation and wishing her continued success.
The Prime Minister also visited the school library, where a student read a passage from a religious book, earning his commendation for her performance. He paused to look at an informational wall display offering guidance and advice to students.
He continued his tour by passing through a second-grade classroom where a student read and explained a text about the importance of sports and how he personally benefited from it, which the Prime Minister commended.
Dr. Madbouly later attended a music lesson for fourth-grade students in the activities period, engaging in a warm, fatherly conversation with the children.
In the science lab, he listened attentively as a sixth-grade student explained the laws of heat transfer to his classmates. The Prime Minister praised the clarity and ease with which the student presented the scientific information.
Finally, the Prime Minister visited the classroom for students with special needs, where he listened to one of the students explain basic arithmetic operations to his peers. He expressed his admiration for the student’s performance and the efforts of his classmates, wishing them all success, excellence, and future achievements.
The visit highlighted the ongoing efforts to improve educational facilities and quality within the framework of the "Decent Life" presidential initiative.
