Egypt launches luxury helicopter charter services for tourists to top destinations
In an exciting move that promises to elevate Egypt’s tourism experience, a leading private jet charter company now offers helicopter rental services connecting Cairo to some of the country’s most captivating destinations—including New Alamein City, Sharm El-Sheikh, Luxor, Hurghada, and El Gouna.
The company has announced that this service is currently available exclusively for group bookings. Chartering a helicopter is possible only for entire groups rather than individuals, with the total passenger count determined at the time of booking.
Two state-of-the-art helicopters are assigned for departures from Almaza Airport in Heliopolis, Cairo.
The first helicopter accommodates up to 15 passengers for one-way flights starting at $15,000, while an eight-seat helicopter is also available, with rates beginning at $13,000 per trip. Depending on the aircraft chosen and party size, the cost per traveler begins at around EGP 50,000 ($1,000) and can rise to EGP 80,000 ($1,600) for exclusive routes.
To book these premium flights, guests must pay in US dollars, provide a copy of their passport or national ID, and sign a contract outlining travel terms and both parties’ rights. Reservations are required at least one week in advance.
Fares may vary based on the selected destination, travel distance, and the level of onboard services, which include light refreshments. Additionally, the company offers discounts for booking return flights, making this a particularly attractive option for high-end travelers and groups seeking a truly unique way to explore Egypt’s legendary sites in style and comfort.
