Egyptian expert joins UNESCO's IBE governing board

The Director-General of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has appointed Dr. Rasha Saad Sharaf, Secretary-General of Egypt's Education Development Fund under the Prime Minister's Office, as a member of the Governing Board of the International Bureau of Education (IBE-UNESCO). The IBE, headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, is a key specialized arm of UNESCO focused on curriculum development and educational policies worldwide.

The appointment recognizes Dr. Sharaf's prominent role and outstanding efforts in developing educational policies, supporting the reform of education systems, aligning them with sustainable development goals, and her extensive expertise in strategic planning and building international partnerships.
