Egypt and Turkey intelligence chiefs call for swift Gaza truce
The Director of Egypt's General Intelligence, Major General Hassan Rashad, met today with his Turkish counterpart, Ibrahim Kalin, to discuss the latest regional and international developments.
During their meeting, both sides emphasized the urgent need to end the war in the Gaza Strip as soon as possible, in line with the latest proposal put forward by mediators. Their conversation reflects growing international efforts to resolve the humanitarian crisis and promote peace in the region.
