Egyptian, French leaders discuss regional developments
Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi held a phone conversation with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron to discuss recent regional and international developments, including the current military escalation in the region.
The two leaders also addressed the Palestinian issue, the two-state solution conference, and emphasized the urgent need to uphold established international principles and international law.
Ambassador Mohamed El-Shinawy, the presidency spokesperson, added that both presidents stressed the importance of continued joint coordination in addressing regional and international crises, especially the need to avoid escalation and maintain stability in the Middle East.
They also reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral relations in various fields, particularly in economic, trade, and investment cooperation, in order to deepen the strong ties between their two nations.
