Egypt to host world leaders at Grand Egyptian Museum opening
The world will turn its eyes to Egypt this Saturday, November 1, 2025, as President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi presides over the highly anticipated opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum. The event, hailed as an extraordinary milestone in the history of culture and human civilization, is set to unite a remarkable array of global dignitaries and international guests.
Seventy-nine official delegations from around the world will attend the inauguration ceremony, with thirty-nine led by kings, princes, presidents, and heads of government. This extraordinary level of participation underscores the international community’s deep admiration for Egypt’s ancient civilization and its unique cultural and humanitarian contributions.
Among the distinguished guests are monarchs, crown princes, and members of royal families from Belgium, Spain, Denmark, Jordan, Bahrain, Oman, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Luxembourg, Monaco, Japan, and Thailand.
