Turkey and Egypt plan joint film ventures to celebrate shared cultural heritage
Turkish Ambassador to Cairo Salih Mutlu Şen hosted a delegation of prominent Egyptian actors and actresses to discuss enhanced cultural collaboration between Turkey and Egypt. The meeting focused on their participation in Turkish cultural and social charity events, with the Egyptian stars expressing enthusiasm for contributing to these initiatives.
The discussions also delved into the rich history of Egyptian and Turkish cinema. Ambassador Şen highlighted the legacy of Egyptian actors like Farid Atrash, who starred in Turkish films during the 1960s, underscoring the long-standing cultural ties between the two nations.
