Egypt to host 2025 Russia-Africa Ministerial Forum
Egypt will host the 2nd Ministerial Conference of the Russia–Africa Partnership Forum in Cairo on December 19–20, 2025. The event, announced by Egypt’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is expected to welcome representatives from over 50 African nations, including many ministers and leaders of regional organizations.
The conference aims to build on the momentum of the first ministerial session held in Sochi, Russia, in November 2024. Discussions will focus on economic, trade, and investment cooperation, as well as strengthening stability, peace, and development across Africa.
Key topics on the agenda include trade, investment, energy, infrastructure, and shared challenges related to security and stability on the continent. The goal is to support peace efforts, boost sustainable development, and enhance long-term Russia–Africa partnerships.
Two special side events will run alongside the conference, highlighting the Egyptian Agency of Partnership for Development’s role in fostering African cooperation, and exploring new avenues for inclusive growth through trilateral cooperation.
