President Sisi, Bahrain’s King Hamad reaffirm full support for Trump Peace Plan
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received a telephone call today from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the sisterly Kingdom of Bahrain.
Ambassador Mohamed El-Shennawy, the Official Spokesperson for the Presidency of the Republic, stated that the call reviewed the distinguished bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to further strengthen them across all fields in a manner that serves common interests and enhances Arab brotherhood and solidarity.
The call also addressed the latest regional developments, particularly the situation in the Gaza Strip. The two leaders stressed the necessity of fully implementing the agreement to halt the war in Gaza, ensuring the urgent and unimpeded delivery of humanitarian aid, and the imperative of immediately launching the reconstruction process to restore normal life for Gaza’s residents.
President Sisi and King Hamad firmly rejected any attempts aimed at displacing the Palestinian people from their land, emphasizing that the Palestinian cause will remain at the forefront of Arab and international attention.
The two leaders agreed on the importance of fully implementing President Trump’s Peace Plan, in accordance with the relevant United Nations Security Council Resolution No. 2803, as the framework for achieving a just and comprehensive peace.
The Presidency Spokesman added that President Sisi and King Hamad agreed to maintain ongoing contact and coordination on issues of mutual concern, especially amid the difficult circumstances facing the region, in order to strengthen the unified Arab stance and serve the interests of their peoples.
