Egyptian Red Crescent delivers massive humanitarian convoy to Gaza
The Egyptian Red Crescent has sent its 20th "Zad Al-Ezzah: From Egypt to Gaza" aid convoy into the Gaza Strip, delivering urgent humanitarian assistance to people in need.
On Thursday, the convoy crossed into Gaza through the Kerem Abu Salem crossing in the southeast of the territory. According to an official statement, the operation includes 180 trucks carrying approximately 4,400 tons of critical aid including food, medical supplies, relief items, baby formula, personal care products, and fuel.
This latest convoy carries more than 3,700 tons of food baskets and flour, as well as much-needed medicines and treatment supplies. The Egyptian Red Crescent, acting as the national coordinator for humanitarian assistance to Gaza, has spearheaded these large-scale relief efforts in response to the ongoing crisis in the region.
The delivery is part of Egypt’s continued commitment to support the Palestinian people amid ongoing humanitarian challenges.
