BERLIN – German Chancellor Friedrich Merz has once again called for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, declaring the ongoing crisis there “no longer acceptable”, WAFA reported.
During a press conference in Berlin on Friday, Merz appealed to Israel to urgently allow the entry of humanitarian aid for Palestinians, with European diplomatic efforts underway to address the escalating conflict.
He emphasized, “What is happening in Gaza is unacceptable to us,” reaffirming Germany’s commitment to securing an immediate ceasefire and ensuring the swift delivery of comprehensive humanitarian assistance to Palestinians.
