Korean music caravan launches in Cairo
The Embassy of South Korea in Cairo organized today a special concert titled "The Korean Music Caravan in Cairo: From Tradition to Globalization" at the historic Ewart Hall at The American University in Tahrir Square. This event is part of the ongoing celebrations marking 30 years of diplomatic relations between South Korea and Egypt.
During the event, Ambassador Kim Yong-hyon expressed his delight, saying, "We are proud to share a part of our musical heritage with the Egyptian people. We hope that these activities will help to strengthen the bonds of understanding and friendship between our two countries—not only on a cultural level, but across all areas of cooperation."
The concert featured a variety of performances that showcased both traditional and modern Korean music, highlighting the rich cultural connections between the two nations.
