Minister of Justice welcomes Malaysian judicial delegation for training program
Egypt's Minister of Justice, Adnan Al-Fanagryi, met today with Malaysian Ambassador Dato Mohd Tarid Sufian and a delegation of senior judicial officials from Malaysia's Sharia judiciary.
The meeting, held at the Ministry's new headquarters, highlighted the strong bilateral relationship and ongoing judicial cooperation between the two nations.
The Malaysian delegation is in Egypt for a three-week training program hosted by the National Center for Judicial Studies. The program, attended by 29 officials, focuses on personal status law under the Shafi'i school of thought and Egyptian law. This initiative marks the second consecutive year that Egypt is sharing its legal expertise with Malaysia.
Minister Al-Fanagri expressed his pleasure in welcoming the guests and underscored the importance of exchanging expertise, particularly in family legislation and judicial training. Ambassador Sufian praised the deep ties between the two countries and expressed his hope for continued collaboration, especially in developing judicial professionals.
The meeting concluded with an exchange of tokens of appreciation, with Minister Al-Fanagri presenting a ministry shield to Ambassador Sufian, and the Malaysian delegation offering a shield of thanks to the Minister.
