Aton Resources reports high-grade Gold, Silver finds in Egypt
Aton Resources has reported significant high-grade gold and silver intersections from its ongoing diamond drilling program at the Abu Marawat concession in Egypt’s Eastern Desert.
Recent results include 33.86 grams per tonne of gold and 419 grams per tonne of silver, with another intersection yielding 44.59 grams per tonne of gold and 103 grams per tonne of silver.
Launched in June 2024, the diamond drilling campaign successfully completed 113 holes, covering a total of 9,642.7 meters. The program targeted previously untested mineralized zones using horizontal and shallow-angle drilling techniques, aiming to maximize resource definition.
These latest results underscore the rich geological potential of the area and support Aton Resources’ plans to develop a high-value mining project. The findings also align with Egypt’s sustainable growth strategy for the mining sector and are expected to attract further international investment to the Eastern Desert, a key part of the Arabian-Nubian Shield.
