China and Egypt launch first-ever foreign ministry spokesperson consultation
In a significant step towards strengthening diplomatic ties, China and Egypt have held their first official consultation between the spokespersons of their respective foreign ministries. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning shared her enthusiasm about the event on social media, expressing that she was “delighted to hold the first consultation” alongside her Egyptian counterpart, Ambassador Tamim, in Cairo.
This new initiative marks the beginning of closer cooperation in press and public diplomacy between the two countries’ diplomatic services. Both nations see this as an opportunity to deepen mutual understanding and improve communication on regional and international issues.
