China and Egypt launch first-ever foreign ministry spokesperson consultation
In a significant step towards strengthening diplomatic ties, China and Egypt have held their first official consultation between the spokespersons of their respective foreign ministries. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning shared her enthusiasm about the event on social media, expressing that she was “delighted to hold the first consultation” alongside her Egyptian counterpart, Ambassador Tamim, in Cairo.
