Chinese PM arrives in Cairo for official visit
Cairo, Egypt – In a display of friendship and international partnership, Egypt’s Prime Minister, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, warmly welcomed H.E. Li Qiang, Premier of China’s State Council, at Cairo International Airport this morning.
Premier Li arrived at the head of a high-level delegation, marking the start of an important official visit to Egypt.
Upon landing, Premier Li and his accompanying delegation were greeted with a ceremony befitting the long-standing and strong ties between the two nations. The distinguished guests were honored with the national anthems of both Egypt and China, followed by an official review of the guard of honor, symbolizing the deep respect and mutual admiration shared by both countries.
During the visit, Prime Minister Madbouly and Premier Li are set to lead wide-ranging discussions aimed at strengthening the strategic partnership and exploring new avenues of cooperation. The talks will address key topics of mutual interest, with a special focus on deepening collaboration across diverse areas including infrastructure, investment, technology, and cultural exchange.
The official program also includes the signing of several significant bilateral agreements and cooperation documents, which are expected to further enhance relations between Egypt and China for the benefit of their peoples.
