Arab League chief expresses solidarity with Qatar over Iranian attack
The Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, has expressed full solidarity with the State of Qatar following what he described as a condemned and rejected attack on Qatar’s sovereignty and airspace by Iran.
Writing on X (formerly Twitter), Aboul Gheit stated, "We have previously warned of the dangers of escalation, and we still hope the current confrontation can be contained as soon as possible."
The incident has drawn attention from leaders and organizations across the region, underscoring ongoing concerns over security and stability in the Gulf.
