Armenian President congratulates Egypt on National Day, highlights strong bilateral ties
Yerevan – On the occasion of Egypt’s National Day, President Vahagn Khachaturyan of Armenia received Her Excellency Mrs. Serenade Gamil, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Armenia, at the Presidential Residence in Yerevan.
President Khachaturyan offered his sincere congratulations to Ambassador Gamil and conveyed his warmest wishes to President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and the people of Egypt.
“On behalf of the Armenian people, I wish the brotherly people of Egypt continued peace, development, and prosperity,” he said.
Highlighting the longstanding friendship between the two countries, President Khachaturyan praised the growing success of Armenian-Egyptian relations, noting the historic significance of diplomatic ties.
“Thanks to your dedicated efforts, our relationship continues to grow and thrive. It is no coincidence that Egypt was among the first nations to open an embassy in Armenia, and Armenia established one of its very first embassies in Cairo. The Armenian community in Egypt has also played an important role in deepening our ties,” he remarked during the meeting.
The exchange reflected the mutual respect and shared aspirations for continued cooperation and friendship between Armenia and Egypt.
