Egypt’s FM heads to Istanbul for OIC Summit
Egypt’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Migration, Dr. Badr Abdel Aty, departed for Istanbul today. He is set to participate in the 51st session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), which will be held on June 21st and 22nd. This year’s meeting is under the theme, “The Organization of Islamic Cooperation in a Changing World.”
During his visit, Dr. Abdel Aty is expected to hold a series of bilateral meetings with other participating countries. These talks aim to strengthen Egypt’s relationships with fellow members and offer opportunities for exchanging views on major regional and international developments.
The Organization of Islamic Cooperation is an important international organization, bringing together Muslim-majority countries to discuss key issues affecting the Islamic world and beyond.
