Egypt denies reports of entry visa fee increase
In response to recent reports circulating in some newspapers and on various electronic platforms alleging that Egypt has increased its entry visa fees from $25 to $45, the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities would like to clarify that these claims are entirely unfounded.
No executive decisions have been made to raise visa fees for entry into Egypt. The only action taken recently relates to setting the maximum limit for possible visa fees, not enforcing a new, higher fee.
The Ministry strongly emphasizes that the information being circulated is merely rumor. Any updates or changes regarding entry visas or similar matters will always be officially announced through appropriate government channels.
