Turkish firm announces major investment in Egypt
A leading Turkish textile company, KCG, is expanding its presence in Egypt with a new yarn factory set to open in the 10th of Ramadan industrial zone, Turkish Ambassador to Egypt Salih Mutlu Sen announced.
During a visit to the Turkish Embassy in Cairo, company owner Mr. Yılmaz Küçükçalık and Egypt country General Manager shared details of the upcoming investment.
According to Turkish ambassador Mutlu Sen, the project’s foundation stone will be laid this Sunday, with the grand opening targeted for September.
Once operational, the facility is expected to create around 500 new jobs for Egyptian workers, marking a significant milestone in economic cooperation between Turkey and Egypt.
The investment reflects growing ties between the two nations and promises fresh opportunities for local communities in the heart of Egypt’s industrial sector.
