Egypt welcomes 150 top French tourism experts in major promotional push!
In a bold move to supercharge incoming tourism from Europe, Egypt's Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities has organized an exclusive familiarization trip for nearly 150 leading French tourism professionals, tour operators, journalists, and influencers!
This high-profile initiative, in collaboration with Travel Evasion – one of France's largest and most prominent tour operators – invites participants to experience firsthand the incredible diversity of Egypt's world-class destinations.
The trip aligns perfectly with the Ministry's strategy to boost tourist arrivals from key European markets, particularly France – one of Egypt's top source countries. French visitor numbers have already seen a remarkable surge this year compared to last, underscoring the success of ongoing efforts to strengthen partnerships.
Ahmed Youssef, CEO of the Egyptian Tourism Promotion Board, emphasized: "Collaborating with major tour operators in targeted markets is a cornerstone of our promotional strategy. Familiarization trips like this are among the most powerful tools – they deliver authentic, positive experiences that enhance Egypt's competitiveness on the global stage."
These initiatives are set to directly multiply tourist inflows, supporting national goals to elevate tourism revenues and solidify the sector as a key driver of economic growth.
The jam-packed itinerary features visits to Egypt's iconic highlights:
Luxor and Aswan: Exploring majestic ancient sites along the Nile.
Giza Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum: Marveling at the eternal wonders and the newly opened GEM.
Specialized educational seminars will also deepen participants' knowledge of Egypt's ancient civilization.
