Egypt confirms airspace remains fully operational amid regional closures

Amid recent regional developments and the temporary closure of airspace in several neighboring countries, Egypt’s Ministry of Civil Aviation has confirmed that Egyptian airspace is operating at full capacity and that air traffic continues normally and safely across all Egyptian airports.

In an official statement released on Monday, the Ministry highlighted that all Egyptian airports, including Cairo International Airport, remain fully prepared to receive any flights that may need to divert due to ongoing regional changes. The Ministry emphasized that operational, technical, and human resources are all on high alert to ensure seamless service and passenger safety.

“Egyptian airspace remains completely safe and fully efficient,” the Ministry stated, noting that real-time coordination is ongoing with all airlines operating in Egypt.

The Ministry also assured the public that all flights within Egyptian airspace and at airports nationwide are proceeding as scheduled, with continuous monitoring conducted by the central operations and crisis management rooms.

Furthermore, Egyptian aviation authorities are maintaining constant communication with all relevant international bodies to monitor the situation and respond professionally to any new developments, while awaiting the reopening of closed neighboring airspaces.
